Shawn Stanfield

Shawn is an IT Director for Purcell Tire and has been with the company for over 15 years.

I began my career with Purcell Tire in 2011 as an entry-level Helpdesk Technician. Over the next several years, I had the opportunity to grow within the IT department, advancing from the helpdesk to Senior Helpdesk Administrator. As the department and company continued to evolve, I was promoted to IT Team Lead. That role gave me my first real exposure to management responsibilities and allowed me to expand my knowledge beyond the day-to-day technical side of IT. Through each of these positions, I gained a deeper understanding of Purcell’s technology, operations, and, most importantly, its people. Along the way, I developed professional relationships with people throughout the company that I continue to value today. About five years ago, I was given the opportunity to become Director of IT. Looking back at where I started in 2011, I am proud of the path I have taken and grateful to work for a company that believes in developing its people and promoting from within. While I am proud of what I have accomplished, I owe much of my success to the people around me. I could not do this job without the support, knowledge, advice, and teamwork of the people I work with every day. I have learned something from every position I have held and from many of the people I have had the pleasure of working with throughout my career at Purcell Tire. I am honored to be part of Purcell Tire and grateful for the opportunities the company has given me over the past 15 years.
