Tomás is a Mini Boom Truck Driver for Purcell Tire and has been with the company for over 11 years.

I just celebrated 11 years with Purcell, and I can't believe it's gone by so fast! My brother-in-law Scott Hernandez (he is our account manager at this location now) had started working here as a mechanic and he talked me into working at the store as well. I started in a service truck running service calls and they had me going all over Phoenix. I was eventually given the job of Boom Truck Tech and I really enjoyed it. I was having some trouble with the store manager at the time, and I was going to quit, but Barry talked me into staying and taking on the job with the BIG tires. I'm so glad I stayed! The big tires are so much easier to do, and I like it when I get to travel and see so many different areas of the state. I like going up north where it's a little cooler, and we get to see so many neat trucks and equipment. It's great! No two jobs are the same. People often ask how I do this job in the Phoenix heat, and I tell them I hardly notice it anymore. You just get out there and do it! Purcell has been a big part of my growth, and I really appreciate all the opportunities and the people I work with
