Corey Germany

Corey is a Retail Manager for Purcell Tire and has been with the company for over 16 years.

In 2010, I was working at Sears Automotive when a guy named Austin Hays called asking for me. I only knew Austin from one other encounter. See 5 years earlier Austin called and asked if I was interested in talking to him about a job opportunity. I talked to him and he got my hopes all high only to find out I was the 1st loser. Back to 2010, same conversation with Austin but this time I was the winner. Now 16 years with Purcell Tire, that same Austin Hays is still my boss who pushes me to get more sales, who pushes me to watch overtime, who pushes me to get a higher GP, who pushes me to sell more services, but most of all he pushes me to be a better person in life. Its Austin fault the last 16 years of my life have been with Purcell Tire. To this day I have never felt like Austin has been my boss, he has always been my friend. I am just a retail store, and Austin has moved on to the commercial side, but I feel without him store 35 may have been just a memory I had to tell people about.
