Janell Hill

Janell is an Executive Secretary for Bob and Juanita for Purcell Tire and has been with the company for over 15 years.

On Friday, June 13, 2011, I walked into an interview at the Purcell Tire corporate office in Potosi, Mo. I got lucky that day because Juanita was recently back from an extended absence at the corporate office and in need of an assistant. As we were talking in the interview, the fact that I was previously employed by a law firm that belonged to a dear and trusted friend and attorney of theirs clinched the deal. She leaned over to me and said, "You're hired.”

I was very excited to work for Juanita and Bob because they were so busy, so active, and so business focused. They were on the go all the time, flying here and there, watching over stores, employees, inventories, accounts, you name it; they did it...and all while they made time to show up for the special things happening on the day-to-day, like celebrations of a birthday or milestone of a manager or a funeral visitation of a loved one of an employee. They planned fun and exciting managers' meetings at different locations each year so the managers could know each other and the company would operate more like a family. That’s what I’ve always called it. The Purcell Family. I am so lucky to be part of it.
