John Hartgraves

John works in Training for Purcell Tire and has been with the company for over 36 years.

I was at the meeting where Bob & Juanita took 100% control of Western States Tire / Purcell Tire and addressed the corporate staff and store managers, their brutal honesty of the state of the company was a stark contrast to what previous management had been telling us. They informed us that there would be changes for the better and shared their vision for the company going forward. You could see and feel their passion for the business, as well as genuine concern for the employees they had just assumed responsibility for to help grow professionally and personally. They made it a point to talk to every employee anytime they visited a store and listened to them and made them feel that their input was important and appreciated, that the employee was part of a larger team whose opinion mattered and helped shape the future. I knew then that I was working for the right people and as we have grown in size with more stores, larger footprint and more staff, Bob and Jaunita have never wavered from their passion for the business or the core values that have made this company as Bob says “Best of the Best” a true leader in the industry and it is a great feeling to put on the Purcell uniform every day and be part of such a great team and organization.
