Employee Story

I remember this vividly – I went to the store in Yuma and told the manager there that I needed a job. LOL! He hired me on the spot. That was August 2000. My first job was as an admin. I worked at the counter, did payroll, billing, set up service calls, answered the phone… a little of everything. We used to have so much fun at the annual open houses. We would have huge BBQs and invite all our customers. We usually had 300-350 people, and Bob and Juanita and Dennis would often come out to join in on the fun. I am proud to say that I have a close relationship with several people I’ve worked with all these years. Each person has helped me with my career and taught me a lot. Purcell has been extremely supportive of me over the years no matter what I’ve had going on. They have been more than accommodating to me during my liver transplant journey and have given me continued unconditional support to this day. I’d like to see Purcell continue to grow and to have a positive, fun culture. I see myself staying with Purcell until I decide to retire. I love my job and the people I work with!
