Family Story

Elaina Chazelle Finch

Elaina Chazelle Finch is the Marketing Manager for Purcell Tire and has been with the company for over 7 years.

I didn’t just find Purcell Tire; I’ve grown up with it.

In 2019, I joined the company as a summer intern while finishing my bachelor’s degree in marketing. By December of that same year, I had graduated and stepped into a full-time role. Since then, my role has grown in many ways. But what makes my story special isn’t what I do; it’s why I’m here.

Purcell wasn’t just a job opportunity. It was already part of my family. My uncle Jim was building his career in the retread plant. He’s put in 46 years of hard work. My grandpa too, for 4 whole decades, driving a semi-truck delivering tires. Growing up, I constantly heard what a great company this was, but more importantly, I saw it through their loyalty. Even before them, my family roots here ran deep. My dad worked alongside Jim in the retread plant when they were younger, and my grandpa, Leroy, was running a boom truck to the mines. Purcell has been woven into my family’s story for generations. So, when the opportunity came, I trusted what I had always been told and what I had always seen. This company is special. And over the past seven years, that belief has only grown stronger.

The leadership here has made all the difference. Bob and Juanita have always shown genuine kindness, and Roger’s passion, understanding, and support have been truly inspiring. As a working mom, balancing career and family isn’t always easy, but Purcell has always made it easier. The support, flexibility, and care I’ve experienced here are things I don’t take for granted.

Recently, a friend told me, “You’re a Purcell lifer.”

And honestly, I hope they’re right.
