Chris does Sales Training and Development and has been connected to Purcell for over 20 years.

My relationship with Purcell goes back many years to my time with Michelin. My first real introduction to the company came when I was a trainer and had the opportunity to work with the Purcell team during their conversion to Michelin Retread Technologies (MRT). I remember coming away from that experience impressed not only by the professionalism of the organization, but by the people. Over the years, my career with Michelin gave me other opportunities to cross paths with Purcell, so it has been especially rewarding to come back all these years later in a different role, working directly with the sales organization on training and helping the company continue to grow and evolve. Having now had the chance to see Purcell from several different perspectives, what stands out to me is how much of the company’s success comes back to its people and the relationships they build. Products, technology, and the tire industry itself have changed tremendously since my first experience with Purcell, but those values have remained remarkably consistent. To build a company that has thrived for 90 years is an incredible accomplishment. Congratulations to Bob and Juanita on this remarkable milestone and on the company and culture you have built. I’m grateful that my own career has allowed me to be a small part of the Purcell story—both many years ago and again today.
