Melissa Dassel

Melissa is an Office Manager with Purcell Tire and has been with the company for 3 years and 7 months.

When I sat down with Mark Laster for my interview and he took me around the store and in the warehouse, I briefly wondered what on earth I could offer a Commercial Tire Center. Whilst I had a very eclectic employment background, it still crossed my mind how I would fit into Purcell Tire. I was not happy where I was employed at the time, but at the same time I had to pray over God's will in my life. I said if this is where He wanted me, please let me get offered the position. When I got the call that they were offering me the job, I was relieved and comforted knowing I had prayed for the answer, and it came. It did not take me very long to realize that I was exactly where I needed to be. It is still hard to believe that it's been almost four years now and even to this day whenever I go into the warehouse, God always brings me back to that moment. Especially gratitude. A first memory that stands out to me is seeing how monstrous these tires that we service can be and that I could fit inside one.
