Maddy Miller & Gabby Hovis (Miller)

Maddy & Gabby both work in Accounts Receivable and have been with Purcell Tire for over 3 years (Maddy) and 2 years (Gabby).

Purcell Tire has always felt like family. Even more so when you get to work in the same department as your sister. I can honestly say she is my right-hand man, the person I go to whenever any issue arises. Whether it is work related or personal. I wouldn’t be a part of the Purcell Tire Family if it wasn’t for Gabby. She was the one who helped me get hired. At that time, I was working for the Pharmacy across the road and was looking for a change. She had mentioned to Kendra Stanfield, the manager of accounts receivable, I was looking for a new job, and I was asked to come in for an interview later that week. Luckily, I secured the job. The accounts receivable department has been there through Gabby’s wedding and preparing for the newest addition to the Hovis family, our sweet Sophia.

The heart of Purcell has always been family. I am beyond grateful for all of what they do for us and our family. How they had our father, Chris Miller CFO, go back to college and better not only his life but ours. To the time during a slow season Chris Miller tried to fire Gabby Hovis only to have Diane Tinsley from Payroll call her and tell her she had better be at work the following day. Through all seasons of our life, Purcell Tire has always been there.
