Roxana Wilson
Roxana Wilson is an Executive Secretary for Purcell Tire and has been with the company for over 30 years.
I have so many memories and stories from my 30 years working here, but I’ve truly been around here my entire life. I think some of my favorite memories are from when I was running the Accounts Payable department. Each week, I would sit with Bob while he signed checks.
During that time, we would always talk about whatever sport was in season—whether it was football or baseball, along with stories about the grandkids. One of my favorite parts was when he signed a check for a certain vendor. Without fail, he would always tell me a story about the owner, “Silky.” Bob would chuckle and say you know why his name is Silky? Cause he thinks he is smooth.
Those moments became a special bonding time for Bob and me.
